    Maria Reyes Bonds

    Associate Clinical Social Worker #ASW79182

Maria is a bilingual (English-Spanish) registered ACSW who received her Master’s Degree from CA State University, Sacramento. Her assertive therapeutic approach is to provide support to the whole person, not just their mental health needs. One of her professional objectives is to advocate for her clients by providing the resources needed to help them thrive while considering their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.

As a bicultural clinician, she understands the many customs, ways of thinking and feelings of the Hispanic culture; their aspirations, behaviors and habits that are formed by the experiences lived. She’s sensitive to her client’s beliefs, and respectful to their perceptions and cultural differences.

In her career in the K-12 public school system, she has experience advocating for families of special education students and was awarded her Pupil Personnel School Credential by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in 2018. Maria is caring and has great respect for the life and dignity of the human person.
