As a bicultural clinician, she understands the many customs, ways of thinking and feelings of the Hispanic culture; their aspirations, behaviors and habits that are formed by the experiences lived. She’s sensitive to her client’s beliefs, and respectful to their perceptions and cultural differences.
In her career in the K-12 public school system, she has experience advocating for families of special education students and was awarded her Pupil Personnel School Credential by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in 2018.
