Clinical Volunteer
My name is Austin. I volunteer as a crisis counselor, and work here at Hope for Healthy Families under the supervision of Isabel K’Burg, LMFT #86991. People may be reluctant to seek therapy for a whole host of reasons: fear of judgment, personal shame, an inability to articulate or understand the scope, or any number of other reasons. In this way, the first step - deciding to come and speak to someone - is often the most difficult. I make it my policy to create a nonjudgmental environment for you. I am supportive, compassionate, and warm, offering encouragement and guidance down the path to a brighter future. Whatever you need - be that addressing an issue, accomplishing a goal, or even just figuring out what sort of goal to set - I’ll be with you every step of the way.
