Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee
Hello! My name is Olivia, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee here at Hope for Healthy Families under the supervision of Isabel K’Burg LMFT #86991. I received my BA in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from William Jessup University. Before pursuing my degree in psychology, I worked for many years within the Sac City Unified School District, as well as Woodland Unified School District where I gained the opportunity to work with many students from diverse populations. I strongly believe that therapy is a way for individuals to participate in an experience that provides them with healing, tools, skills, and encouragement as we learn and growth through this crazy thing called life. I believe that in life we will face many defeats but that we are not defeated. I strive to provide a holistic and non-judgmental space for clients to receive comfort, hope, and guidance during difficult times. I am passionate about working with people from all different walks of life including, all aged individuals, all sexual orientations, couples, and families. I look forward to walking with you during this part of your life’s journey that will lead towards growth and healing. “Stand up straight and realize who are you, that you tower over your circumstances.” – Maya Angelou
