Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee
Greetings, my name is Christina Pheng. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee under the supervision of Patricia Vargas LMFT #111468. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Speech Language Pathology at University of the Pacific. I am currently a student at Touro University Worldwide to complete my degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have six years of previous experience as a Behavioral Consultant working with children on the Autism spectrum. In addition, I helped assisted their families on parenting, coping with stress, and life transitions. I believe it is important that I can create a safe place where communication and emotions can be freely expressed without fear and judgement. As we grow and go through life, we may encounter road blocks that hinder our growth and well-being. You may feel stuck, lost, and/or confused. If so, I can help assist you in coming up with a plan to get your life back on track. As your therapist trainee, my priority is to help you understand yourself and how to get your needs met and to find that balance again in your life.
In my free time, I enjoy staying home and playing video games on my nintendo switch, watching anime on Crunchyroll and binging movies on Netflix. When I am out and about, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and shopping centers, shopping for new cat toys, and visiting friends and families.
