Hello, my name is Jessica Hidalgo. As a therapist, I believe in meeting you where you are at and working together to create and achieve goals. I like to use authenticity, trust, and humor to build positive connections. I believe these connections have the power to foster change.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or interpersonal issues, I am here to guide you through it and towards solutions. I enjoy working with all kinds of diversity, including the LGBTQI+ community and neurodivergent individuals. I have past experience working with children with developmental disabilities, and adolescents in under-resourced communities.
My approach to therapy includes using psychodynamic principles and cognitive behavioral therapy as a balance to exploring past connections and finding present solutions. I hope to provide a safe space where you feel comfortable and empowered to make these explorations. In my free time I like spending time with my family and my dogs. I enjoy getting out into nature, trying new foods, and listening to music.
I am currently working on obtaining my license and MA in Professional Clinical Counseling at Alliant International University.
If you’re ready to start your therapy journey, I am here to support you.
