Hello, my name is Pat Vargas, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #111468 at Hope for Healthy Families. I’m one of the supervisors here. A lot of change has happened since I first walked into HFHF in 2014. I have an MS in Marriage, Couples, and Children Counseling at Sacramento State. I also got my BS in Psychology at Sacramento State. I have experience working with a variety of clients and patient types. I believe maintaining your integrity and self-esteem is important to navigating the universal human experiences we encounter. I strive to use respect, transparency, and humor to create a safe place where communication can take place. The key to therapy is a place where open and honest conversion fosters a journey where your growth and needs can be discovered and respected. Working collaboratively with families and couples to create goals to help improve and empower their lives is the key. I work from an integrative therapeutic approach, striving to learn from my client’s inner wisdom and, in combination with my skills, assist them with traversing the challenges and changes in their lives.
