Monika believes that despite one’s circumstances in life we still possess the ability to improve our circumstances in order to create a life and a direction for ourselves. Monika wants her clients to feel heard, safe, and supported as they begin the healing process. Monika also believes that treatment approaches need to be individualized and the client must be a part of this process so that treatment can be tailored to meet their specific needs. Every client has their own unique set of strengths and ability to make changes in their lives.
In her career Monika has worked with the homeless population and in various outpatient settings. Monika holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. She looks forward to working with you.
