Hello, my name is Melanie Rivera, an MFT trainee in my final year of the psychology counseling program at the University of San Francisco. With a background in community health working for local non-profits and health system across diverse populations, I have gained a profound understanding of the challenges that life can present. I recognize that everyone faces their own set of difficulties, and I am here to offer steadfast support through these times.
I am dedicated to creating a compassionate and non-judgmental space where individuals can confront their struggles and work towards healing. My goal is to help clients navigate their unique journeys with resilience and self-discovery, providing them with the tools and encouragement needed to overcome obstacles and thrive.
Outside of my professional life, I am a mother of two wonderful kids. I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, paddleboarding, or simply enjoying nature. These experiences remind me of the importance of finding balance and joy, and I bring this perspective into my work, supporting clients as they find their own paths to well-being.
