Trainee
Hi, my name is Lindsay Eccles and I’m a Marriage and Family Therapy/Professional Clinical Counseling Trainee working under the supervision of Monika Paschal LCSW # 73510. I received a bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family, Human Development from Brigham Young University, a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from Utah State University and am currently finishing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Professional Clinical Counseling from Touro University.
I use a strengths-based, no-shame, approach to therapy. I believe everyone has a story and everyone can benefit from therapy—whether it’s for a listening ear or to develop healthier skills as you move through your journey in life. I have several years’ experience working with children with developmental delays/disabilities and their parents/families. I have seen first-hand the challenges that these families face, and I hope to provide a space for children and families of all shapes and sizes to gain strength and courage to face their daily realities. I also grew up in a faith-centered home. I understand some of the challenges and rewards that can come from living a faith-based life and can provide faith-centered therapy, if that is what you are seeking. I also understand and speak some Spanish and have had several years’ experience working with the Latina population, as well as with other under-served populations.
I am available to work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a variety of mental, emotional, and relational challenges. I’m here to meet your needs and provide a space for empathy, growth, strength, and healing. I look forward to working with you!
