Trainee
My name is Ashlyn and I am a Professional Clinical Counseling Trainee here at HFHF under the supervision of Monika Paschal LMFT #73510. I received my Bachelors in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Family Studies from Sacramento State University. I am currently finishing up my Master’s degree at Palo Alto University.
I have years of background experience working as a Residential Counselor for an emergency shelter group home housing children from ages 6-18 years old. Currently, I am a Family Support Specialist for adults at a non-profit organization. I have always believed that it takes patience, skill, and open understanding to help an individual along their own unique journey. My goal is to provide a safe place for my client to unapologetically express themselves and work towards their self-growth and development through processing burdensome thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a heathy way. My therapeutic approach focuses on encouragement through my client’s strengths and abilities to meet their goals and find healthier ways to conquer difficulties. The hardest step of seeking out possible help is done. I would love to help you continue to elevate your growth and healing through your journey. I look forward to meeting you.
