Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee
My name is Angeline Vang, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee currently pursuing my graduate degree at the University of Phoenix. As an Asian-American woman, I aim to bring a culturally informed, compassionate perspective to the work I do with individuals, couples, and families in my community. My goal is to walk alongside each person with empathy, respect, and practical tools to help them navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.
I am currently training under the supervision of Clinical Supervisor Nikkole Brown, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #120603). My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I use to support clients in developing healthier thought patterns and taking proactive steps toward emotional and relational well-being.
Outside of my professional life, I am very family-oriented. I’m a proud first-time mom to a beautiful son who has brought incredible joy and perspective into my life, alongside my supportive husband. Our home is also filled with the playful energy of our two adorable corgis, who keep us on our toes and constantly entertained. In my free time, I enjoy unwinding with lighthearted shows like Abbott Elementary and The Office, and I’m also a big fan of anime, which sparks my creativity and brings me comfort.
